Smiling makes you feel happy irrespective of your situation. The brain releases endorphins which lower stress and make you happy. It also makes you more approachable while building trust between you and the people around you. But few people experience problems with their smile and stress about it. The good news is that you can transform your smile with dental veneers.

HOW THEY WORK
At Shine Dental, our veneers are made out of high-quality ceramic porcelain. Porcelain veneers are small, extremely thin prosthetics that are built to fit perfectly over your existing teeth, essentially covering unwanted cosmetic issues to give teeth a new, refreshed look. This option looks completely natural, and nobody will ever need to know you’ve had dental work when the process is complete.

OF PORCELAIN VENEERS
Veneers are a popular choice for many patients considering cosmetic dentistry because the treatment offers major benefits:
- Fast and non-invasive – There is no oral surgery required, making this an ideal choice if you have dental anxiety. The procedure only takes two appointments in most cases, making it fast and convenient.
- Long-lasting results – Veneers can last 10-15 years with proper care. They are strong and resist stains while requiring no special care.
- Natural look and feel – Your veneers will fit seamlessly in with your natural teeth, and they will also feel completely natural.

REMOVABLE?
No. Veneers are permanent and are not removable. They are bonded tightly into place with dental cement, and there is no way for you to remove them yourself. The treatment is irreversible, and once you get veneers, you will need to keep wearing veneers for the rest of your life.
Lumineers are an exception to this. In some cases, they can be removed completely without any adverse effects. But usually, despite the fact that they are called “no-prep” veneers, a small amount of your tooth structure must be removed or modified before your Lumineers can be placed. This can affect your smile once the Lumineers are removed.
For all intents and purposes, both veneers and Lumineers should be considered permanent. Before you commit to having veneers, you should make sure that you are ready for the commitment of maintaining your veneers. There is no way to easily remove them or reverse the procedure.
